Choose how you want to plan.
Fitbod describes recommendations that adapt to your equipment, goals, preferences, and past performance. That can be useful when you want help deciding what to train today. Generated does not mean you have no control: Fitbod also documents workout editing and saved workouts.
Iron Progression answers a different question: “how is my plan going, and what should next session be?” Build a block, set rep ranges and RIR targets, and review how each session relates to the plan. You can start from a built-in program rather than arriving with one already written.
Planning and progression, side by side.

| Keeping records | Check current export and account options | Local storage with manual JSON backup/restore |

Start with the decision you want help making.
If your main question is which exercises to do today, try Fitbod's recommendation workflow and see how it responds to your equipment and preferences. If you already have a repeatable plan, test how each app handles that same plan over several sessions.
In Iron Progression, review the program builder, the reason for the next target, and the saved sets behind Reports. Neither a generated workout nor a template guarantees that the workload is right for you.
There is no direct Fitbod-export importer in Iron Progression. Keep your existing history and test the new workflow before rebuilding a long-running plan.
