A direct line for questions.

Ask about the app, report something that went wrong, or suggest a better way to handle your training. For data problems, preserve what is on the device before trying a reset or reinstall.

Where can I get the app?
Iron Progression is available for Android. If you use an iPhone, sign up for an iOS launch notification. There is no confirmed iOS release date yet.
Can I log without internet?
Core workout logging uses local app storage. Updates, external links, and diagnostics in configured builds can still use the network. Local-first does not mean a copy of your training is automatically recoverable from a server.
Why do I not see effort ratings?
Check RIR Tracking in Settings. It is optional and applies to supported rep-based exercises, not every duration or distance entry. See the effort-tracking guide.
Why did a rest-timer notification not arrive?
Check the app's notification permission in Android settings, your notification and sound settings, and any battery restrictions. Include whether the app was open or in the background when reporting the problem.

Back up before changing devices.

  1. 1. Finish the current work. Finish or discard active and unfinished workouts. Save or close any history edit before using backup tools.
  2. 2. Export your records. In Settings, choose Export Data Backup and save the JSON file somewhere you can access outside the app. Keep the file private.
  3. 3. Preserve photos separately. JSON backups include progress-photo records and file references, not the image files. Images may be unavailable after reinstalling or moving to another device.
  4. 4. Review before restoring. Import Data Backup replaces local app records; it does not merge histories. Export the current data first if you want to keep it, then check the restored workouts and programs.

Backup import is for compatible Iron Progression JSON files, not arbitrary CSV files or exports from other workout apps. Do not uninstall or clear app storage as a troubleshooting step until you have preserved the records and images you need.

Reporting a problem

A few details help us reproduce what happened:

  • Your device, operating system, and app version. For website issues, include the browser and page address.
  • The steps you took, what you expected, and what actually happened.
  • Any error message and whether the issue happens every time. Screenshots can help, but remove personal or sensitive information first.

Feedback and privacy requests

For a feature request, describe the training task you are trying to complete and where your current workflow falls short. To stop iOS launch emails or request removal of a website signup, email from the address you used to sign up. Do not attach a full backup or progress photos unless they are needed and you have agreed to share them. See the privacy notice for local data and website records.
