Reliable logging

Log the real workout.
Not a simplified version of it.

Record the sets you actually perform, including warmups, backoffs, exercise swaps, and effort. Your workout is stored locally, so gym reception does not decide whether you can log.

+1 rep vs. last session

Keep the session in context.

You’re between sets. You’re tired. The last thing you need is to scroll through history, type a note, open a separate timer, or try to remember which weight you used last week.

Iron Progression is designed around the next action: what to lift, what you did last time, how hard to push, and how to capture the set without losing your place.

On the logging screen.

  • Planned targets and rep ranges alongside your sets
  • Exercise history to check previous performance
  • Built-in rest timers and set-specific rest settings
  • Save and continue unfinished workouts
  • Swap exercises without losing program context
  • Warmups, backoffs, drops, AMRAPs, myo-reps, rest-pause, clusters
  • 436 searchable built-in exercises, plus custom exercises
  • Bodyweight, assisted, duration, and distance work

A practical session flow.

  1. 1. Start from Workout. Follow a program day or start a quick workout and choose the exercises you need.
  2. 2. Record the result. Log completed reps and load, not just the planned target. Add an effort rating when enabled and relevant to the exercise.
  3. 3. Finish or continue later. Complete the workout to save it to history, or save an unfinished session and return to it.

Local storage is not a remote backup. Use Settings data backups before replacing your phone or removing the app.
